By stating that it would be coming this Summer, it was rightfully assumed that meant it would be launched sometime around late June or after. Summer officially starts on June 20/June 21 after all. Although it’s been a long wait, this will surely make users happy. Since the launch of the Galaxy Watch 4, Bixby has been the only voice assistant you had access to. And while it does have its uses, it doesn’t really compare to Google Assistant....

Firmware updates for Google’s Pixel buds have always been an automatic process with no user control. If your buds are connected and a new update is available, they automatically install it. This may be inconvenient at times as you can’t use the buds while an update is in process. Google wants to simplify this process by allowing users to manually install available updates when they want. The company was spotted working on manual updates for Pixel buds back in February....

However, Google’s way of handling location data has always been under a shadow of a doubt. Researchers, a few years ago, found out that Google went onto collect user’s location data, even after they denied such permissions. Fast forward to now, 9to5Google reported Google Maps users on Android and iOS are seeing a new prompt. This prompt titled “How navigation data makes Maps better” gives permission to the app to crowdsource user’s navigation data....

So, this would be a bit sooner than anticipated, around two weeks earlier. It’s possible, though take this rumor with a grain of salt, as Google still didn’t confirm anything. Google did, however, already kind of announced the Pixel 6 series....

Before we get down to it, though, do note that the Pixel Notepad name was also mentioned. Those are the only two names that were highlighted thus far, so… chances are one of them will be used. Based on the latest info, however, the ‘Pixel Fold’ will probably be final. That’s what the phone is being called, internally. Having said that, let’s see what’s expected out of Google’s very first foldable smartphone....
