Rolling out with firmware version A536U1UES2AVF1, the July SMR for the Galaxy A53 5G in the US is currently limited to unlocked units. The update is already available on pretty much all carrier networks, including AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, Bluegrass Cellular, and Xfinity Mobile. Users on the remaining few carriers should receive the update within a few days. The carrier-locked counterparts should also pick up the new security patch soon. While the July update in Samsung’s homeland contained additional bug fixes and stability improvement, the US units only seem to be getting the latest SMR....

First spotted by TheGoAndroid, a Galaxy S22 Ultra user recently suggested this feature on the Samsung community forums for South Korea. They pointed out that hyperlapse mode currently doesn’t let you manually control shooting parameters such as shutter speed, ISO, and white balance. It’s an automatic shooting mode. As such, it doesn’t let photographers take full advantage of the camera hardware to record desired hyperlapse videos.
